La linea di ricerca pone al centro la nuova prospettiva che l’analisi narratologica ha aperto anche nello studio dei testi classici (de Jong 1987 e ora de Jong 2014, trad. it 2017), traendone spunto per una rinnovata analisi di testi centrali della produzione letteraria, a partire dal mondo greco e dal mondo latino.
L’obiettivo è non solo ridiscutere e approfondire categorie note e complesse della narratologia, quali focalizzazione, narratore, tempo e spazio, ma soprattutto applicare tali categorie a singoli testi appartenenti a diversi generi letterari, anche non immediatamente pertinenti all’ambito del racconto, dall’epos al teatro, dall’oratoria alla storiografia e al dialogo, dalla lirica all’epigramma. I risultati della ricerca saranno esposti sia in momenti di seminario o in giornate di studio e convegni, sia in singole pubblicazioni o in volumi dei rispettivi atti.
