Il Senato Accademico è l’Organo di rappresentanza della Comunità Accademica e svolge funzioni normative e consultive nonché di indirizzo, raccordo e coordinamento dei Dipartimenti e delle altre strutture scientifiche e delle relative attività, sentita anche la Commissione Ricerca, per quanto di competenza.
Il Senato Accademico è costituito con decreto del Rettore e i componenti elettivi durano in carica quattro anni; la durata in carica della Rappresentanza Studentesca è biennale. Il mandato è rinnovabile una sola volta.
Il Senato Accademico, costituito con decreto rettorale n.15/2021 del 18 gennaio 2021, integrato con decreto rettorale n. 50/23 del 2 febbraio 2023 e con decreto rettorale n. 90/24 del 26 febbraio 2024 ai sensi dell’ art. 11 dello Statuto di Ateneo, per il quadriennio 2021-2025 risulta così composto:
Alle adunanze del Senato Accademico partecipa altresì, senza diritto di voto e senza che la sua presenza concorra alla formazione del numero legale, il Direttore Generale.
