Il laboratorio offre risorse e competenze specializzate nella costruzione di modelli matematico-statistico-probabilistici, nella conduzione di analisi statistiche e di simulazioni numeriche. Attrezzato per gestire efficientemente job intensivi di big data e machine learning, il laboratorio supporta progetti di ricerca e sviluppo innovativi. Rappresenta un asset strategico nell’ambito dello “Spoke 5” del progetto Rome Technopole, con la missione di trasformare i risultati della ricerca in impatti concreti attraverso iniziative di divulgazione scientifica, di coinvolgimento pubblico e di formazione continua. Il focus è sulle transizioni energetica e digitale, con particolare attenzione all’intelligenza artificiale. Il fine è quello di promuovere la cultura scientifica e di contribuire alla costruzione di una comunità consapevolmente interessata alla scienza, all’analisi dei dati e alle nuove frontiere della ricerca.
