PROJECT ACTIVITIES
Depletion of natural resources as a result of overuse, pollution, reduction of green areas, desertification, destruction of fertile agricultural lands, erosion, global warming, reduction of the ozone layer, greenhouse effect, and decrease in flora and fauna are some of the most important environmental problems encountered today. Environmental problems are an important global phenomenon that extends from the individual to the universal dimension due to its approach and scope and concerns for the whole world. URISC focuses on educating our young students as
individuals who will take up the management and make policy in the future, equipped with necessary information sensitive about his/her environment and conscious about environmental problems. For this reason, the project includes activities that will increase the environmental awareness of students in formal education programs and especially in secondary education.
