Descrizione sintetica dell’attività di ricerca Il gruppo si occupa di analisi spettroscopiche applicate allo studio delle alterazioni superficiali di materiali vari, principalmente legno e coatings per il legno. Il gruppo lavora, inoltre, alla caratterizzazione di materiali impiegati nelle tecniche pittoriche e nel restauro. Le tecniche utilizzate dall’inizio della collaborazione e quindi della creazione del gruppo di ricerca, operativo dal 2013, sono: spettrofotometria di riflettanza nel visibile, spettroscopia FT-IR nel medio IR, hyperspectral imaging nel visibile e nello SWIR.
