  • How do I enroll in a degree course?

    You need to go to the educational offer, click on the course you’re interested in, and read the requirements and admission procedures.

  • Are the study programmes limited in enrollment?

    No, the courses offered are open admission, except for the interdepartmental degree program in Sport, Wellness, and Physical Activity in the Natural Environment.

  • Who can help me with the enrollment process?

    There is an online and face-to-face tutoring and orientation desk where tutor students can provide you with support and assistance.

  • Does the university offer preparatory courses for the entrance exams?

    The University of Tuscia offers prospective students MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses), which are free online courses available to everyone, useful for preparing for the basic math test.

  • How much does it cost to enroll in university?

    The University of Tuscia has various measures in place to support the right to education. Please refer to the tuition and fees regulations for more information.

  • Can I apply for scholarships?

    The student community has access to scholarships provided by the university. Additionally, you can apply for scholarships offered by LazioDisco, the regional agency for the right to education.

  • Where are the campus cafeterias?

    The university cafeterias are managed by the Lazio region. There are two cafeterias in Viterbo: Mensa San Sisto (Piazza San Sisto, 8) and Mensa Via Alessandro Volta “Riello” (Via Alessandro Volta, 37), which is located just a short walk from the Department.

  • How can I find information on schedules, classrooms, lectures, course programs, recommended texts, and faculty office hours?

    You should go to Educational Offer, click on the course you’re interested in, and follow these steps:

    – Already enrolled→Navigate to General info for course programs, faculty office hours, and recommended texts.
    – Already enrolled→ Go to Class Schedule or Gomp Calendar for schedules, classrooms, and lectures.

  • When should I complete my study plan?

    The study plan is the most important academic obligation for students. It does not need to be completed at the time of enrollment but can be filled out and/or modified during specific time windows communicated by the academic office.

  • What is the procedure for enrolling in a master's degree program?

    The procedure varies depending on whether you are an EU or non-EU student. For more information, please consult this page.

  • What happens if I don't pass the entrance test?

    The entrance test is online, free of charge, and can be taken multiple times. Check here for all available dates.

  • How do I activate my student email account?

    The Unitus email account will be activated after the payment of the first installment. Access credentials will be sent to the email address previously used during enrollment.

  • When is the enrollment deadline?

    – November 4, 2024: Deadline for enrollment for the academic year 2024-2025 for undergraduate programs (all years) and for the second year and beyond of master’s programs.

    – December 29, 2024: Deadline for enrollment for the academic year 2024-2025 for the first year of master’s programs.

    – February 28, 2025: Deadline for enrollment for the academic year 2024-2025 for those graduating between January and February 2025 who wish to enroll in the first year of a master’s program.

  • How do I activate a curricular internship?

  • What is the difference between Gomp and Moodle?

    GOMP is the student portal and can be used for the following procedures:
    – Enrollment in the entrance test
    – Enrollment/registration for subsequent years
    – Payment of fees
    – Completion/modification of the study plan
    – Thesis assignment request/graduation application
    – Request for a master’s degree clearance

    Moodle is the platform used by instructors to upload teaching materials and provide announcements or useful communications regarding courses. Within Moodle, you can also find:
    – Links to access support courses (if offered via streaming)
    – Workplace safety training courses
    – Language courses organized by the University’s Language Center

  • I'm a working student: are there any benefits or concessions for enrollment?

    If you need to balance work and study, you can apply for part-time enrollment. This request must be submitted between August 1 and September 30 of the academic year in question.

  • Where can I find the teaching materials?

    On the Moodle portal, using the same credentials as the student portal.

  • What are the support courses for recovering OFA (Additional Learning Requirements)?

    Students who do not pass the entrance test, even though it can be retaken multiple times, will be REQUIRED to attend a support course in mathematics and/or a support course in chemistry. These courses are specifically designed by the department to facilitate a successful academic path for enrolled students.

  • I am about to graduate: where can I find the guidelines for writing my thesis?

  • Is attendance at lectures mandatory?

    Attendance at lectures for degree programs is not mandatory, except in specific cases determined by the individual Degree Programme Board.

  • What does the entrance interview for master's degrees involve?

    The entrance interview for master’s degrees is not a selection test. It is an assessment to verify that you meet the curricular requirements of the chosen degree program.

  • Are there support measures for students with special needs?

    The university has implemented a series of services and interventions to support student autonomy, inclusion, and participation in university life.

  • Can lectures be attended online?

    No, all teaching activities are conducted in person, except for students who cannot attend classes due to serious and documented health issues (with appropriate medical documentation) and for students who have enrolled as “part-time” working students or under specific agreements.
