Evaluation Unit

The Evaluation Unit performs all verification and evaluation functions provided by current regulations according to criteria and methods predetermined by the Unit itself, in accordance with the guidelines given by the National Agency for the Evaluation of the University System and Research. It operates independently of other bodies to which it reports the results of the evaluation activity, ensuring maximum transparency and publicity. The Evaluation Unit holds office for three years, with a mandate renewable only once, except for the student representative who has a two-year mandate, renewable only once (article 15 of the Statute). According to resolution CIVIT 09/2010, the Evaluation Unit performs the functions of the Internal Evaluation Unit (OIV).

Composition

The Evaluation Unit, established by rectorial decree n. 351/22 of July 11, 2022 and subsequent amendments, is composed as follows:

In accordance with Article 43, paragraph 3, of the University Statute, members of the Evaluation Unit are entitled to an allowance in the amount determined by the Governing Board (€ 4,815 annual, excluding contributions – Governing Board of 11.06.2009 and subsequent adjustment pursuant to Article 6, paragraphs 3 and 21, of Legislative Decree No. 78 of 31.05.2010).

By Rectorial Decree No. 810/11 of September 27, 2011, the Permanent Technical Structure for performance measurement was established. his structure, last modified by Rectorial Decree No. 170/23 of March 24, 2023, is tasked with supporting the Evaluation Unit in carrying out the functions outlined in Article 14 of Legislative Decree No. 150/2009.
