Teaching activities for the Degree Programmes of the Department of Ecological and Biological Sciences are delivered in person.
This approach reflects the in-person nature of the Department’s Degree Programmes and the specific features of scientific education, which place particular value on direct interaction with lecturers and students, classroom discussion, and practical, laboratory and field activities.
In compliance with current legislation, regulations and academic freedom, individual lecturers may use online teaching methods, where considered appropriate to enhance the quality of the teaching provided, as a complement to in-person activities.
Any activities delivered via streaming will be conducted in compliance with privacy and copyright regulations.
Examinations are held exclusively in person.
The delivery of teaching activities is governed by the resolution of the DEB Department Council of 18 October 2023.
