As established by Ministerial Decree 270/2004, all freshmen must take an entrance test in order to perfect their enrolment. These tests are not selective, and therefore do not preclude the possibility of enrolling in the desired degree course, but they do allow the presence of some basic knowledge necessary to carry out one’s studies to the best of one’s ability to be verified.
If the test is not passed, it will still be possible to enrol, but it will also be necessary to carry out some additional activities aimed at making up the Additional Educational Requirements (OFA).
The afore mentioned additional activities will be specified during the course of the academic year and it will be the responsibility of the individual department to organise remedial courses and workshops to support students in overcoming their OFAs.
OFAs must be completed by the student within the first year of the course.
