The University of Tuscia is located in the heart of Italy, in the city of Viterbo, located in the Lazio region, approximately 100 kilometers north of Rome. Viterbo is renowned for its rich historical and cultural heritage, notably its well-preserved medieval old town and ancient thermal baths. The city is surrounded by green hills that offer spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. Tuscia is a region steeped in millennia of history and authentic traditions, with ancient Etruscan cities, medieval villages, and Roman ruins seamlessly blending into modern life.
At the University of Tuscia, we are committed to create a stimulating and inclusive academic environment where students and faculty can explore, discover, and grow together. We offer a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs in various disciplines, including agriculture, environmental sciences, biology, economics, engineering, and many others. Our academic offerings are enriched by innovative research programs and collaborations with national and international institutions.
We are distinguished by academic excellence and a commitment to sustainable development and environmental conservation. UNITUS is a place where theory and practice converge, providing students with opportunities to apply their knowledge through field experiences, internships, and research projects.

Students can access services (soccer, tennis, beach volleyball, etc.) at a subsidized price by joining CUS Viterbo.
Students access the Company for exercises scheduled for some examinations included in the curricula and for conducting dissertations, while they can attend demonstrations, seminars and other educational activities in the classroom adjacent to the management building.
The facility is also a venue for conducting practical-application internships.
The ‘Angelo Rambelli’ Botanical Garden is a structure of the University of Tuscia in charge of university teaching, research, conservation, and dissemination and plays a fundamental role in the dissemination of scientific knowledge.
It also promotes thematic courses, events and exhibitions to provide the public with a basic knowledge of the plant world, thus helping to create a naturalistic “consciousness.”
The Garden is located about 300 m above sea level near the historic thermal spring of Bullicame.
