The final assessment entails presenting a thesis before a committee comprised of faculty members from the department.
It is a written work (approximately 40-50 pages for the bachelor’s thesis), focusing on an in-depth thematic analysis related to one of the subjects of the study program and drafted under the supervision of an advisor (a faculty member in the chosen field).
In the master’s thesis, the student must demonstrate advanced competence in the subject matter and contribute theoretically and/or empirically.
The thesis carries a weight of 4 CFU for the bachelor’s and 16 CFU for the master’s; the evaluation is expressed on a scale of one hundred (110).
The final score is calculated based on the educational regulations of the program the student is enrolled in, augmented by a score given by the committee.
