Contracts Certification

The Certification Commission carries out all certification activities and assistance for negotiation autonomy entrusted by law to the Commissions established at the university level, including:

Certification of all contracts in which a work performance is deducted, directly or indirectly, including, for example: employment contracts, procurement contracts, supply contracts, agency contracts, business networks, joint ventures, company transfer contracts, etc.;
Certification of contracts and subcontracts in confined or suspected pollution environments pursuant to Presidential Decree no. 177/2011;
Certification of individual clauses of employment contracts, including typification clauses justifying dismissal and arbitration clauses pursuant to art. 31, paragraph 10, Law no. 183 of November 4, 2010;
Certification of the internal regulations of cooperatives with reference to the type of employment relationships implemented or intended to be implemented, alternatively, with worker members;
Certification of waivers and settlements pursuant to art. 2113 of the Civil Code (see also the Conciliation and agreements in protected premises section).

The Commission has national territorial jurisdiction.

Meetings with the parties to the contract to be certified, if necessary for the procedure, are conducted remotely via videoconference.

It is advisable to have informal contact with the Commission regarding the contracts to be certified before the formal initiation of the procedure.

Certification Procedure and Documents to be Submitted

To access certification services, it is necessary to first adhere to the Framework Agreement by signing a specific membership form and the privacy statement to be sent to the following email address: commissione.certificazione@unitus.it or via PEC commissione.certificazione@pec.unitus.it. The agreement is usually signed by the employer. It is possible to conclude ad hoc agreements with representative associations open to members and professional studios open to their clients.
To initiate a certification procedure, it is necessary to submit a specific request signed by the parties to the contract subject to certification.

The certification request must be accompanied by the following documents:

a stamp duty of €16.00 for each procedure to be initiated;
a copy of the signed contract to be certified;
a copy of the identity documents of the parties to the contract;
additional documents duly indicated in the request, depending on the act to be certified
the billing form duly completed and signedAdditional documents may be requested by the Commission during the certification process.

The aforementioned documentation must be sent by email in scanned form to commissione.certificazione@unitus.it or via PEC commissione.certificazione@pec.unitus.it and subsequently sent, in original, to the address of the Commission in Viterbo, 00145 S.M. in Gradi n. 4, 01100, Viterbo (VT)

The certification process, to be carried out in accordance with the Commission’s regulations, is concluded within 30 days from the start of the procedure with the issuance of the certification decision. If, during the certification process, the Commission intends to meet the parties for the purpose of hearing, the parties must also complete the Telematic Adhesion Form and send it by email in scanned form to commissione.certificazione@unitus.it or via PEC commissione.certificazione@pec.unitus.it
