The Board of Auditors is responsible for supervising the administrative-accounting, financial, and asset management of the University and its spending centers (Article 13 of the University Statute).

The Board of Auditors was established by Rectoral Decree on August 31, 2023, No. 381.

The members of the Board of Auditors serve a three-year term (August 31, 2023, to August 30, 2026). The term is renewable only once.

  • Avv. Tito VARRONE

    • Role: State Attorney – President.

The members of the Board of Auditors are entitled to an indemnity, the amount of which is determined by the Board of Directors with a resolution dated March 30, 2004 (Article 39 of the Statute). Starting from 2011, the compensation is reduced by 10% in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 3, of the decree-law of May 31, 2010, No. 78, converted, with amendments, by Law No. 122 of July 30, 2010.

President: €11,000.00 per year – with a 10% reduction: €9,900.00 (excluding social security charges and any additional increases payable to the State budget according to circular MEF-RGS prot. 52841 of April 21, 2020)

Effective Members: €10,000.00 per year per capita – with a 10% reduction: €9,000.00 (excluding social security charges and any additional increases payable to the State budget according to circular MEF-RGS prot. 52841 of April 21, 2020)

The National Anti-Corruption Authority, with resolution No. 1310/2016, has considered that the members of the Board of Auditors fall within the provisions of Article 15 of Legislative Decree No. 33/2013.
