The Board of Auditors is responsible for overseeing the administrative, accounting, financial, and asset management of the University and its spending centres (Article 14 of the University Statute).
The Board of Auditors was established by Rector’s Decree no. 381 of 31 August 2023.
The members of the Board of Auditors hold office for three years (31 August 2023 – 30 August 2026). The mandate may be renewed once.
The members of the Board of Auditors are entitled to an indemnity, the amount of which is determined by the Board of Directors with a resolution dated March 30, 2004 (Article 39 of the Statute). Starting from 2011, the compensation is reduced by 10% in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 3, of the decree-law of May 31, 2010, No. 78, converted, with amendments, by Law No. 122 of July 30, 2010.
President: €11,000.00 per year – with a 10% reduction: €9,900.00 (excluding social security charges and any additional increases payable to the State budget according to circular MEF-RGS prot. 52841 of April 21, 2020)
Effective Members: €10,000.00 per year per capita – with a 10% reduction: €9,000.00 (excluding social security charges and any additional increases payable to the State budget according to circular MEF-RGS prot. 52841 of April 21, 2020)
The National Anti-Corruption Authority, with resolution No. 1310/2016, has considered that the members of the Board of Auditors fall within the provisions of Article 15 of Legislative Decree No. 33/2013.
