Academic Calendar 2026/2027

The academic calendar outlines the activities, commitments, and holidays of the University of Tuscia and its various degree programs.

The following dates are indicative and may vary depending on your department or degree program. Departments have the authority to modify the general academic calendar set by the University in order to accommodate the specific needs and institutional commitments of individual courses. Therefore, it is recommended to refer to your Department’s webpage, under the “Academic Calendar” section.

Academic calendar 2026/2027

• Start of classes for the 1st semester: starting from the last week of September 2026. The start date may vary depending on the department.
• End of classes for the 1st semester: mid-December 2026 to mid-January 2027. The end date of classes may vary depending on the department.

• Winter break: from December 24th, 2026 to January 6th, 2027.

• Start of classes for the 2nd semester: between the end of February 2027 and the beginning of March. The start date may vary depending on the department.

• End of classes for the 2nd semester: between the end of May 2027 and the beginning of June 2027. The end date of classes may vary depending on the relevant department.

• Spring break: on the days from March 25th to March 30th, 2027.

Examination Schedule

Throughout the academic year, typically three regular exam sessions are scheduled:

• Winter Session: three examination dates within the period between the beginning of January 2027 and the end of February 2027;

• Summer Session: three examination dates within the period between the end of May 2027 and the end of July 2027;

• Autumn Session: two examination dates during the month of September.

Furthermore, during the academic year, the Departments may establish extraordinary sessions generally reserved for graduates and those out of the regular study period.”
