Cross-Competency Pathways

The University of Tuscia is a hosting institution for the Ministerial PCTO project. The Budget Law of 30/12/2018, No. 145, has renamed the School-Work Alternation paths (Law 13/07/2015 No. 107, art.1) as Paths for Transversal Skills and Orientation.

The University provides its facilities to the final three-year classes of high schools, including departments, libraries, laboratories, equipment, offices, and spin-offs, to conduct experiential pathways in various fields. The goal is to ensure that students, in addition to basic knowledge, acquire skills that are useful in the job market.

For this purpose, schools can choose from various formats and types, based on the specific characteristics of each school, students’ interests, and learning objectives.

In compliance with current legislation on safety and health in the workplace, considering the ongoing health emergency, the University of Tuscia ensures the continuation of PCTO projects in digital mode, manageable remotely.

Schools interested in the catalog of proposals can send the digitally signed draft convention, along with references to insurance policies, to the email address: protocollo@pec.unitus.it.

The signing of individual training projects will be agreed upon with the respective academic Tutors of the departments chosen to carry out the work-school alternation activities.

The referring Tutors must inform the students about health and safety at work regarding the risk profile of the chosen activity and, therefore, fill out the Risk Assessment Sheet.

Orientation and Career Service

The University of Tuscia is committed to organizing orientation activities for graduates through the periodic organization of orientation initiatives.

The University also organizes initiatives and career service activities for graduates. This is the purpose of the “UnitusJob” desk, which provides assistance for orientation and training through the activation of post-graduate internships, high apprenticeship courses, and supports the creation of employability profiles.

In this context, the Testimonial Day has also been organized, as well as a day of meeting between the student community and companies for the world of work.
