One of the strategic objectives of our University is to attract innovative researchers through the ‘Talent Valorization and Attraction’ program, in order to further enhance its reputation at both national and international levels, to encourage the pursuit of scientific excellence through funding from competitive programs, and to support frontier research proposed by high-potential researchers, both Italian and foreign, in all fields of science,” as stated by the Rector of the University of Tuscia, Stefano Ubertini.
UnitusTalent is the initiative of the University of Tuscia to attract the best and most promising researchers and professors, motivating them to actively participate in the ‘Excellence’ pillar of the current Horizon Europe Framework Programme, particularly the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) and the funding schemes of the European Research Council (ERC) funded by the European Commission (EC), as well as the prestigious “Rita Levi Montalcini” program for young researchers funded by the Ministry of University and Research (MUR).
Given the opportunity to increase the number and quality of proposals submitted by Unitus, the University of Tuscia intends to implement the UnitusTalent program and its strategies, which correspond to the aforementioned competitive programs, MSCA, ERC, and Rita Levi Montalcini.
UnitusTalent involves the publication of a call for expressions of interest aimed at researchers and professors engaged in international research operating in Italy and abroad, who are interested in submitting projects within the MSCA, ERC, and Rita Levi Montalcini calls with UNITUS as the host institution for their research activities.
These programs encourage, with high-level funding, the investment in human resources and equipment, proposals that transcend traditional barriers between disciplines, and that propose pioneering ideas on emerging topics or innovative approaches.
To achieve this objective, Unitus promotes specific recruitment actions to attract the best international talents from around the world, that is, those researchers and professors who, at various career levels, will choose our University as the host institution and who will obtain MSCA, ERC, and Rita Levi Montalcini funding, as reiterated by the Rector’s delegate for Talent Valorization and Attraction, Antoine Harfouche.
Below are the currently open selection calls. Deadline: September 14, 2024
