PROGNOSES

ABSTRACT

The project aims at quantifying their ecosystem services in UNESCO old-growth vs managed beech forests in terms of carbon storage, biodiversity and tourism. Life Prognoses involves different organizations from 8 European countries and communicate to professionals and the general public the importance of these forests for human beings, and how best to protect them.
