ABSTRACT 

Despite the potential of using forest chip screening residue, a real supply chain does not yet exist in the Tuscan context. The innovative aspect of the project lies precisely in being the first attempt to analyze this interesting possible supply chain at 360°. In fact, we will start by evaluating the salient aspects of the production chain to understand the optimal balance on a company and local scale. The residual material obtained will be subject to technological characterization in the laboratory, establishing its salient characteristics for horticultural and floricultural application and subsequently its real application in experimental fields and production chains will be defined, both pure and in specially tested mixes.
