The University Quality Assurance System

The University Quality Assurance (QA) System is a comprehensive set of actions designed to ensure that quality objectives are met. The University defines, formalizes, and implements an integrated system of policies, strategies, and goals to enhance the quality of Teaching, Research, Third Mission, and the services supporting institutional activities.

The university’s governance system and Quality Assurance System involves planning, monitoring, and review, carried out in a clear and transparent manner, with the active involvement of all stakeholders (faculty, students, technical and administrative staff, and external stakeholders).

The University of Tuscia considers the implementation and continuous improvement of an integrated Quality Assurance System as its primary and overarching goal. QA processes are aimed at promoting the efficiency and effectiveness of the University’s activities and services, fostering their continuous improvement through a plan-do-check-act cycle.

Promoting quality in all strategic areas is a priority and cross-cutting objective. The University views quality as a broad semantic concept that encompasses legality, anti-corruption, transparency, and performance, while ensuring proper integration with the budgetary cycle.
