The second-level degree course in Digital Information is an interdisciplinary course which aims at providing scientific knowledge and technological competences for the production and management of content and information in digital environments by connecting them with knowledge in humanities.
The degree course’s general aim is that of training second level degree graduates with high-level technological and IT competences who are able to operate in an interdisciplinary way for the management, planning, promotion and use of information and communication and who can come up with solutions to complex problems in a digital and cross-media environment.
The course offers an interdisciplinary education and is characterized by qualifying scientific knowledge and technological skills for the production and management of contents and information in digital environments, relating them to humanistic knowledge. The general objective is to provide a high level of technological and IT competence in the management, planning, enhancement, use of information and communication in digital and cross-media environments.
Graduates find employment in management of communication and digital contents for private companies, media companies, public administrations and high-tech institutions in the web, publishing, audiovisual and software fields.
The achievement of the Master’s degree class LM-91 offers a suitable education for continuing university studies at a more advanced level such as PhD research programmes, specialization schools, 2nd-level professional masters.
Possibility of internships in the field of digital communication with subjects in agreement with the Department, e.g. Repubblica/L’Espresso, Sky, Il Fatto Quotidiano.
