Final Exam

The educational path includes the use of various teaching methods such as:

  • Lectures
  • Exercises
  • Laboratory activities
  • Internship or training activities

For each educational activity, a final assessment is planned through an exam or proficiency test, passing which allows the acquisition of training credits.

To obtain a degree, it is necessary to acquire 180 ECTS credits.

Those who transfer from another study program can request recognition of the already acquired ECTS credits.

Exams

Exams are held during dedicated periods – called sessions.

The exam schedule is available on the page of each course in the GOMP portal.

Foreign language proficiency is assessed through a proficiency test, while skills related to internships and training are verified through written reports and a certificate of participation with merit.

Final Examination

The final examination refers to the public discussion of a paper (thesis) with contents relevant to the study program, with a total value of 8 ECTS credits.

Thesis

The final paper is written by the graduating student under the supervision of an advisor who assists in drafting the thesis.

The text may be based on in-depth bibliographic research or personal experience gained in research laboratories of the departments, public or private structures.

To obtain the degree, the student must pass the final examination successfully.

Degree

The final degree grade is expressed in one hundred tenths with the possibility of a top score of 110/110 cum laude.

The Degree Commission will assign the grade based on the following criteria:

  • Average grades in thirtieths, weighted with credits.
  • Excellence in the student’s academic career – honors.
  • Completion of studies within the expected period.
  • Participation in international student mobility programs – Erasmus.
  • Effort exerted, quality of the final paper, and presentation.
