1.Study and research stays at Italian public and private entities

Convention schemes for the activation of study and research periods in Companies/Research Centers/Public Administration on Italian territory for Ph.D. candidates who are beneficiaries of PNNR scholarships. The study period is mandatory.

For recipients of PNRR Research scholarships pursuant to Article 8 of DM 118/2023 (Generic Doctorates), the study period in a Company or Research Center is optional.

Alternatively to the Agreements, it is possible to use the welcome letter from the hosting institutions.

Characteristics of hosting facilities for PNRR scholarship holders:

1. PNRR Public Administration Scholarships
Public Administrations, Companies, or Research Centers

2. PNRR Cultural Heritage Scholarships
Companies, Research Centers, or Public Administrations, including museums, institutes, and training institutions of the Ministry of Culture (e.g., Foundation School of Cultural Heritage and other Higher Education Schools), archives, libraries.

3. PNRR Digital and Environmental Transitions Scholarships
Companies or Research Centers

4. PNRR Scholarships in collaboration with Enterprises
Enterprises, as defined in paragraph 2 “Concept of undertaking and economic activity” of the Communication of the Commission 2016/C 262/01 on the notion of State aid referred to in Article 107, paragraph 1, of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union.
