The monitoring of Third Mission activities within the Department is overseen by the Third Mission Committee and is reported annually in the SUA-RD/TM (Annual Report on Research and Third Mission Activities).
Technological Transfer Activities (e.g., spin-offs, patents, third-party projects, institutional relations) are monitored by the Administrative Coordinator for the Third Mission, where each researcher/professor is required to report their activities.
Social Impact Activities (e.g., continuing education, public engagement) are monitored by the Delegate for the Third Mission through the E-Stanza portal, where each researcher/professor must upload the activities for which they are responsible.
Public engagement activities must comply with the University Guidelines, which require:
– The designation of a coordinator for the activity.
– Notification to the Delegate for the Third Mission at least 30 days prior to the activity.
– Notification to the Delegate for Communication at least 15 days prior to the activity.
– Registration of the activity on the E-Stanza portal within 15 days after the activity, including details of all other researchers/professors involved.
To ensure complete and useful registration for the SUA-RD/TM, each activity must include:
– A system for recording the number and types of participants (e.g., children, students).
– A system for measuring participant satisfaction.
For assistance in reporting activities and managing participant and satisfaction registration systems please contact Prof. Giovanni Polverino, Delegate for the Third Mission (giovanni.polverino@unitus.it) For help with uploading records to E-Stanza, please contact Dr. Anna Nicolaou – Administrative Coordinator for the Third Mission (nicolaou@unitus.it)
