The laboratory, located on the ground floor of block B of the Riello campus, is dedicated to practical teaching exercises. It can accommodate 30 students plus 2 instructors and is equipped with 27 optical microscopes and 18 stereo microscopes. In the laboratory, students can find all the necessary materials for preparing and observing fresh and stained microscopic slides (slides, cover slips, tweezers, sprayers, gloves).
Students also have the opportunity to view educational videos through a television connected to a VCR, as well as display microscopic observations acquired through a camera on a monitor. Additionally, the laboratory contains two hoods (chemical and laminar flow), a microwave oven, a technical balance, a centrifuge, a pH meter, and a thermostatic incubator. The biology laboratory is used for both undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
