According to the University Regulations, the University of Tuscia encourages the establishment of joint-stock companies or limited liability companies whose purpose is the entrepreneurial use of research results and the offering of new products and services, and defines two types of spin-offs: university-participated spin-offs and university-approved spin-offs. Although not departmental in scope, we would like to point out here those spin-offs in which DISTU representatives participate.
Spin-off “CULTURE VISION – Integrated Strategies for the Enhancement and Development of Cultural Heritage” (resp. S. De Vincenzo): CDA approval (2021); has not yet been formalized with a notarial deed; some members of the spin-off, after approval, won doctoral degrees that will end in 2024; as of 2023, the incorporation of the company has not yet been formalized
With the projects (agreements, conventions, internships) for Placement, DISTU assumes, together with the University, the role of employment intermediary entity(L. 30/2003) guaranteeing and developing relationships with entities, companies (including representatives of the third sector) in order to facilitate the placement of young graduates in the world of work.
