This section is dedicated to promoting the high prestige of the University of Tuscia among higher education institutions in Italy and communicating areas of excellence for talented international and national students and researchers.
Objective of TTVA
Enhance innovation and the results of research and teaching through the competitive advantage provided by human capital and valorize the University in the international research and teaching landscape. The University of Tuscia, through the University-wide initiative Tuscia Talent Valorization and Attraction (TTVA) initiated by the Rector, Prof. Stefano Ubertini, aims to attract talents to its institution.
Attracting the best talents in scientific research and teaching, both from abroad and other parts of Italy, is an important tool to increase the competitive capacity of the University’s research and teaching system and strengthen its internationalization processes, with the idea of transforming UNITUS into an international hub for research and teaching.
Roadmap of TTVA
We are aware that our most important resources are our people.
The initiative aims to attract and train young talented researchers to apply for national, European, and international research programs with UNITUS as the host institution, capable of offering the best informational and operational tools.
Within the TTVA, the best researchers will receive specific training to apply for programs funded by the European Commission such as:
Moreover, talented students from all backgrounds who wish to attend UNITUS will receive specific guidance to apply for scholarships under the following programs:
The scholarships are offered for the following types of courses:
In addition, in collaboration with specialized agencies and public and private partners, UNITUS will promote new scholarships:
All researchers and students from the previously mentioned programs will receive specific training on “Creativity, Entrepreneurship, and Leadership” and will participate in dedicated programs that foster relationships between students from different fields of study.
Through the TTVA, the University will promote the attraction of innovative and ambitious researchers with high international qualifications, regardless of citizenship, who develop research projects of excellence to be carried out at UNITUS locations.
UNITUS offers the appropriate conditions for Fellows and Principal Investigators to independently manage their funded research.
TTA aims to support the training and career development of its talents, facilitating the submission of their candidacy from abroad, encouraging them to participate in the above-listed programs.
TTVA will contribute to raising awareness about funding opportunities from MSCA, ERC, Rita Levi Montalcini, Invest your Talent in Italy, and StudyInItaly through the organization of specific events, including:
These events will allow an in-depth exchange between stakeholders and potential talents on the importance of international cooperation and mobility in Science and Technology.
The contents and activities will be disseminated through Twitter @UnitusTalent, Facebook @UnitusTalent, and Instagram @UnitusTalent.
