Since its inception, the University of Tuscia has supported the Erasmus+ Program, which it considers a tool of fundamental importance for the university’s internationalization process. In this sense, it annually adopts strategies aimed at enhancing the mobility of the entire student community, both incoming and outgoing, with partner universities in European and non-European countries. This activity aimed to increase the attractiveness of the university and the number, and quality of incoming and outgoing flows.
Information for the entire Academic Community Study periods spent abroad represent the core element of the Erasmus+ Program and have an extremely positive impact on the student’s professional prospects. They also represent an opportunity to enhance one’s knowledge of languages, increase one’s self-esteem and independence, and immerse oneself in a new culture.
Erasmus+ offers the additional opportunity to combine a period of study abroad with an internship. Mobility is possible for bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral students.
Students from UNITUS have the opportunity to participate in this crucial European program through the annually released Calls for Selection. The Erasmus Student or Student may receive, in addition to the EU contribution, a supplementary contribution from the University. Student selection is made based on the university’s annual Call for Selection, which is published annually for periods of study taking place between June 1st of the same year and October 31st of the following year.
The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd cycle students can confront themselves with university and work realities of an international nature, taking courses and taking exams in another Institute of Higher Education and practicing an internship in a company abroad: the two experiences can both alternate and be repeated within the overall duration of 12 months for each cycle of studies.
Students, and recent graduates wishing to receive the grant, must apply for both study and internship mobility calls offered by the university.
