The most important requirement for students, once enrolled in the Department’s study programs, is the CURRICULAR STUDY PLAN, which MUST be completed at the beginning of the academic year.
The STUDY PLAN is mandatory for exam registration, thesis requests, and submitting the graduation application.
Visit the news for the time windows of the curricula of economics area courses
The compilation of the study plan is necessary in order to register for exams, in accordance with the structure of each study program, as specified in the academic offerings of the student’s enrollment year.
All students enrolled in academic programs after 2013/2014 can modify and/or validate their study plan through the GOMP portal.
The study plan consists of:
– Mandatory exams, automatically added to the study plan by GOMP;
– Mandatory qualifications, also automatically added to the study plan by GOMP. These refer to exams related to cross-disciplinary subjects (such as English language or IT skills) that count towards the ECTS credits but do not have a numerical grade. They may also be substituted with external certifications (see recognized language certifications list);
– Elective exams, chosen by the student from those offered in the “Elective Group” of each degree program during the initial compilation of the study plan and cannot be changed later;
– Student’s elective activities, which can be modified up until the final graduation session, and may include:
– Internship or traineeship, to connect students with the professional world;
– Final exam, which involves the preparation and defense of the thesis.
When completing the study plan on GOMP, it is recommended to ALWAYS consult the “ABC” guide located in the top bar, as it highlights any errors that may prevent the study plan from being finalized. Be sure to “Submit the study plan” (button at the top) to ensure validation and approval.

In certain cases, it may be necessary to compile a super-individual study plan, which MUST be completed UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE ACADEMIC OFFICE, by appointment. This applies to:
Please note that the ACADEMIC OFFICE ACADEMIC OFFICE IS FULLY AVAILABLE TO ASSIST STUDENTS WITH ANY PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED IN THE COMPILATION OF THE STUDY PLAN. Additionally, an INFOPOINT for orientation and tutoring is available to provide assistance with the study plan compilation process.
