  • Learning objectives

    The degree course in Industrial Engineering provides a solid basic technical preparation that allows the engineer to use knowledge to produce, design, build and organize the tools with which to intervene on reality. The training course for industrial engineering graduates is therefore organized on two levels:

    • basic training in mathematics, physics and chemistry;
    • fundamental knowledge in mechanical engineering, energy engineering and materials engineering.

    The course’s program requires the student to pass 20 exams, in addition to linguistic competence, of which 16 are compulsory, including all the CFU of the basic and characterizing subjects, and 4 chosen from a wide range of courses on related subjects, distributed among the first and second year.

  • Career opportunities

    The acquired knowledge allows to carry out professional activities in various fields: mechanical and electromechanical industries plants, plants for the production of electricity, engineering plant and manufacturing companies, public and private service companies, engineering companies, public and private bodies operating in the energy supply sector, self-employed design and / or consultancy.

  • Further education

    The course is structured to provide the student with sufficient learning ability to undertake higher level studies, including the master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering held at the University of Tuscia.

  • Further information about the course

    The teaching methodology used is made innovative through the following measures: seminars by experts in specific sectors, including foreign ones, laboratory activities, training and preparation for job career through internships in the network of companies.
