Orientation Initiatives

The Department of Economics, Engineering, Society, and Business Organization offers specific orientation activities for high school students and graduates with a bachelor’s degree who are interested in enrolling in a Master’s program.

For the high school student community, the Department provides:

• PROGRAM PRESENTATIONS held at the Department’s premises or at the requesting school. During these presentations, the goals of the study programs are explained, including the courses offered and potential career prospects for graduates, with particular attention to the current local and national context.
• SIMULATED LECTURES on real topics from first-year courses, offering a genuine “taste” of the university approach to studying. At the end of the lectures, students are assigned a small task to be completed in teams, with results presented to departmental tutors.
• PARTICIPATION IN SEMINARS and meetings held within the study programs. High school students are invited to attend seminars organized by the Department alongside their future peers.
• ENTRANCE EXAM SIMULATIONS are available during orientation meetings, allowing students to review the questions typically asked in entrance exams, thus providing a clear understanding of the admission requirements.
• DEPARTMENT VISITS are organized in July, allowing students to tour the department’s facilities, including laboratories, classrooms, libraries, and more.

For students interested in enrolling in a Master’s program, the Department offers:

• PROGRAM REVIEW with tutors available to provide clarification on previous academic careers, validation of credits (CFU), and verification of admission requirements.
• DEPARTMENT VISITS can be arranged throughout the academic year by appointment with a tutor, allowing students to explore the department’s facilities.
