The most important fulfilment, to which the student is called on, once enrolled to the Department courses, is the STUDY PLAN compilation. The STUDY PLAN must be fulfilled at the start of the academic year.
The STUDY PLAN is binding for the exams registration, as well as for thesis and degree applications.
Students can complete or change their study plan during the opening of time windows by Academic Office, established according to the following schedule:
– from November 10th, 2024 to January 20th, 2025
– from April 1st, 2025 to May 10th, 2025
– from June 1st, 2025 to June 15th, 2025
Any derogation will be communicated through the Department website and the notices posted up on the notice board.
Guide for compiling the study plan
Compiling the study plan is necessary in order to register for the exams, in accordance with the structure that each study course has, as specified in the educational offer for the year of enrollment of the student.
All students enrolled in training offers after 2013/2014 can modify and/or validate their study plan via the GOMP portal.
The study plan consists of:
– compulsory exams, already automatically included in the study plan by GOMP;
– compulsory qualifications, which are exams relating to transversal disciplines (such as English language or computer skills), already automatically included in the study plan by GOMP, that contribute to the calculation of the CFU, but to which a numerical evaluation does not correspond and which can also be replaced by external certifications (click here for more information).
– optional module, i.e. exams which must be chosen by the student from those proposed in the “Optional group” of each degree course when compiling the study plan for the first time, and which can no longer be modified;
– elective module, i.e. training activities chosen by the student, which can be modified until before the graduation session, and which can be:
– internship, to bring students closer to the world of work;
– final exam, i.e. the preparation and discussion of the degree thesis.
When filling the study plan in GOMP, it is recommended to ALWAYS consult “The ABC”, present in the top bar, as any errors that prevent the closing of the study plan are reported there, and to “Send the study plan” (button in high) for validation and approval purposes.

Super-individual study plan
In some cases, it may be necessary to compile so-called super-individual study plans, which MUST NECESSARILY be compiled under the SUPERVISION OF THE TEACHING SECRETARIAT, by appointment. This includes:
– students enrolled in training offers prior to 2013/2014;
– students who wish to request recognition as a training activity of choice of external activities or exams carried out in the context of previous academic careers, whose approval must be assessed by the Teaching Commission of the Course of Studies Council (CCS).

Please remember that THE EDUCATIONAL SECRETARIAT IS AT THE COMPLETE DISPOSAL OF STUDENTS FOR ANY PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED IN COMPILING THE STUDY PLAN and that there is also an active orientation and tutoring INFOPOINT where you can find assistance in completing it.
