Are you a Professor or Researcher and would like to gain experience abroad?
The University of Tuscia has supported the Erasmus+ program since its inception, considering it a crucial tool for the university’s internationalization process. In this regard, the university annually adopts strategies aimed at enhancing the mobility of students, faculty, and staff both inbound and outbound, with partner universities from European and non-European countries, to increase the attractiveness of the university, the quantity, and the quality of incoming and outgoing flows.
Study periods abroad are a fundamental component of the Erasmus+ program and have an extremely positive impact on the career prospects of participants. They also provide an opportunity to enhance language skills, increase self-confidence and independence, and immerse oneself in a new culture. Erasmus+ offers the additional opportunity to combine a study period abroad with an internship.
The Erasmus+ program promotes international mobility for teaching activities (Staff Mobility for Teaching – STA) and training activities (Staff Mobility for Training – STT) for both teaching and non-teaching staff at higher education institutions. Mobility periods can be carried out at institutions holding an ECHE (Erasmus Charter for Higher Education) with which an inter-institutional agreement has been established.
This activity allows university teaching staff to teach at partner institutions abroad. Mobility of this type covers all academic/disciplinary areas.
Interested staff members will need to submit their participation application online using the Gomp portal, following the path Announcements > International Mobility > Call for international teaching staff mobility for the academic year 2022/2023..
