The department is headquartered in the monumental San Carlo complex, the facility includes the Great Hall, with high-tech audiovisual and multimedia facilities; teaching rooms, library, computer labs, faculty rooms, offices and management, and a well-equipped student space.The courses of Modern Languages and Cultures (L11), Law (LMG01), Languages and Cultures for International Communication (LM37), Public, Political and Institutional Communication (LM59), and Science of Politics, International Security and Public Communication (LM62, interdepartmental course DISTU-DEIM) are held here.
The department’s branch office is located in the Riello complex at the building formerly housing the former Department of Cultural Heritage. Here are located the teaching rooms, faculty offices, the photographic laboratory for documentation and graphic recording, and the teaching secretarial office of the interclass master’s course Archaeology and Art History, Conservation and Enhancement, LM2/LM89.
The Department currently has language and computer laboratories (Classrooms 7, 9, 10 and 11) with a total of 92 networked stations for lectures and exercises of the Study Courses incardinated in the Department.
Language and computer exercises can be carried out in the laboratories.
