Erasmus + DEB

The students of the Department of Economics, Engineering, Society, and Business have the opportunity to undergo training experiences abroad, both in terms of education and work-related activities. For educational programs related to the Army and the Air Force, periods of training abroad are organized directly by the military bodies under specific agreements.

Who to contact

1. At the university level, the International Relations Office handles all procedures related to international mobility calls and the disbursement of financial support (where applicable) to support student mobility.
2. At the department level, you can find

• • at the department level, there are two contact persons responsible for managing the educational aspects related to the preparation of the study plan for courses and the exams that students will have to take at foreign universities. They also handle the alignment of these courses with the local study plan and the final recognition of ECTS credits, which is determined by the department council.
  • there are part-time student collaborations with the task of providing assistance to students on mobility.

Erasmus + program

The Erasmus+ program promotes the mobility of students, allowing them to undertake a recognized study period with ECTS credits included in their study plan. The ECTS credits will be approved based on exams passed by department representatives after receiving documentation confirming the successful completion of the corresponding exams at the host university.

The Erasmus+ program also provides the opportunity to carry out work placements with companies in foreign countries to earn credits for internships and/or recognized work activities, which are necessary for the completion of the final exam in collaboration with companies:

Double degree

• The University of Glamorgan (Wales, UK) allows students in the Business Economics program to spend one or two semesters at its facility, where they can acquire 60 ECTS credits. Upon returning to Italy and successfully defending their thesis, students will have the opportunity to request both an Italian degree and an Anglo-Saxon Bachelor Degree.
• At the Higher School of Economics (Nizhny Novgorod, Russia), upon returning to Italy and successfully defending their thesis, students will have the opportunity to request both an Italian and Russian degree.

The Mobility and Cooperation Office of the University provides assistance to students through various activities:

• Information sessions on the Erasmus call (study and placement) before and during the call opening.
• Assistance with the application process.
• Participation in department meetings for destination allocation.
• Advising students on alternative destinations if initially assigned destinations are not suitable for any reason.
• Providing information retrieval support, including contacting students from previous mobility programs.
• Monitoring students’ activities abroad, including any changes to their academic plans.
• Completing the return procedure by sending the certificate of completed exams to the academic secretariats of the various departments.

Monitoring, after the recognition procedure, the number of credits actually awarded for activities carried out abroad.
