The Department of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences concretizes its Third Mission activity through solid and profitable relationships with numerous external institutions, with schools of different degrees, and with other elements of society. The deep bond with the territory is also confirmed by the branch office of Rieti, where the Bachelor of Science in “Mountain Sciences” (L-25) and the Master of Science in “Digital Management of Agriculture and Mountain Territory” (LM-69-73) are held.

As Department, we are currently dealing with:

• the professional associations of Agronomists and Foresters, with whom there has always been a deep-rooted and continuous interaction both in terms of human resources and problems to be solved, and through a deep connection with companies and bodies operating in the territory, at the local and national level, as evidenced by the numerous agreements that the Department stipulates annually with local companies.
• Public institutions (e.g.: General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic, Lazio Region, Province of Rieti, ARSIAL, Metropolitan City Rome capital, Gargano Railways, Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale del Lazio e della Toscana, ATC Rieti1, etc.)
• National and Regional Research Institutes (other Universities, CREA, CNR, etc.)
• Territorial protection bodies, or National Parks and Regional Reserves (e.g.: Monti Sibillini National Park, Ente Parco Pollino, Aspromonte Park Authority, Ecomuseo Montagna Fiorentina, Consorzio di Bonifica del Gargano, etc.)
• The former State Forestry Corps (now Forest, Environmental and Agri-Food Units Command – CUFAA – of the Carabinieri Corps), Carabinieri Biodiversity Group,
