The Disciplinary Board performs investigative functions in the context of disciplinary proceedings against professors and researchers and provides a conclusive opinion. These functions are governed by Article 16 of the University Statute and the Code of Ethics and Conduct of this University.

Appointment:

The Board is appointed by the Rector and consists of 7 members and 3 substitutes, all in full-time positions with a seniority in the role of at least five years in service at the University.

Regulation for the election of internal members of the Disciplinary Board issued with Rectoral Decree no. 829/19 of October 31, 2019.

Composition: It includes

  • one full professor
  • one associate professor
  • one tenured researcher currently in service at the University

Additionally, it comprises

  • two full professors
  • one associate professor
  • one full-time researcher not belonging to the University of Tuscia, appointed by the Academic Senate from a pool of candidates identified following a public notice.

The President of the Board is chosen by the Rector from the full professors who are members.

The members of the Board remain in office for three consecutive years with a renewable mandate for only one term.

The Disciplinary Board, constituted with Rectoral Decree no. 670/2022 of December 21, 2022 (December 21, 2022 – December 20, 2025), is composed as follows:
