The Disciplinary Board performs investigative functions within disciplinary proceedings initiated against professors and researchers and issues a final opinion on the matter.
These functions are governed by Article 19 of the University Statute and by the Code of Ethics and Conduct of this University.
The Board is appointed by the Rector and consists of 7 members and 3 alternates, all employed on a full-time basis and with at least five years of service at the University.
The Regulations governing the election of the internal members of the Disciplinary Board were issued by Rector’s Decree no. 829/19 of 31 October 2019.

The Chair of the Board is appointed by the Rector from among the full professors who are members of the Board.
Members of the Board serve for three consecutive years, with the possibility of one renewal.
