Art. 1
The University of Tuscia, in order to pursue growth of its international profile and strengthen internationalization of its research and teaching strategies, and given the resolutions of the Academic Senate and the Board of Directors respectively on November 18th and October 29th 2020, seeks for expressions of interest by direct call for the positions of Full Professor, Associate Professor, and fixed-term researcher art. 24, paragraph 3, lett. b, law no. 240/2010.
Art. 2
This public notice is addressed to:
a) scholars who were awarded specific high-qualification research programs, funded by the European Union (EU) or by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR) and identified by this decree, after consulting the Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes (ANVUR) and the National University Council (CUN);
b) distinguished scholars (chiara fama), in possession of at least one of the following requirements according to the provisions of the Ministerial Decree of 15 July 1997: to have occupied, for at least three years, a similar position in foreign universities; to have received international scientific awards; to have held managerial positions in qualified international research institutes for at least three years;
c) scholars permanently engaged abroad in research or teaching activities at university level for at least three years, holding an equivalent academic position in a university or a research institution abroad, according to the correspondences established (between Italian and foreign academic positions referred to in article 18, paragraph 1, letter b), of Law 30 December 2010, no. 240) by the D.M. no. 662/2016. The academic position period abroad must be at least three years, held in one or possibly more countries, current at the time of the proposal submission.
The programs referred to in letter a) are defined within M.D. no. 963, 28 December 2015, in particular, the research program funded by the MUR that is eligible to the direct call is:

Art. 3
Applications must be sent by email talent@unitus.it not later than 90 days after the date of publication of this notice on the Official Notice Board of the University of Tuscia, and must contain the following documents:
In the case of application pursuant to art. 2 letters b) and c), the application must be accompanied by a verification of employment (also translated into Italian), issued by the current institution to which the candidate belongs, indicating the position held and its effective date.
The expressions of interest presented under notice no. 569, repertoire no. 19/2021, of January 14, 2021 remain valid, without prejudice to the possibility to submit a new application.
Art. 4
The direct call procedure is governed by national legislation and by the provisions of the University Regulations for the discipline of the call of Associate and Full Professors – Title V.
The submission of an application for the purpose of this expression of interest does not give any right to admission procedures for accessing the academic position at the University.
Personal data provided by the candidates will be collected at the University of Tuscia. Pursuant to the Legislative Decree 196/2003 (the “Privacy Code”) and the EU regulation 679/2016 (“General Data Protection Regulation”), the office in charge of processing data is Human Resources Office. The person in charge of the proceeding, pursuant to art. 4-6 of Law 7/8/1990, no. 241, is the Human Resources Head Office who is entrusted with the management of this proceeding.
