Orientation and tutoring service

The incoming Orientation service is aimed at introducing high school students to the department, showcasing its educational and research structures, as well as the degree programs it offers.

The initiatives include:

• Presentation of the department’s academic offerings at schools;
• Seminars and workshops related to the department’s teaching and research topics to engage students in the subjects covered by the degree programs;
• Information regarding entrance tests;
• Welcome and assistance for freshmen with enrollment procedures, access to Gomp and Moodle portals, and information on student services (cafeteria, student housing, transportation).

The ongoing Orientation service aims to support enrolled students in their academic journey by:

• Optimizing learning conditions and quality by offering advice and support to help students overcome challenges consciously and effectively;
• Encouraging the completion of studies within the time frame established by the curriculum;
• Providing support in preparing individual study plans and managing bureaucratic procedures;
• Helping students make informed decisions when choosing a master’s degree program.

What is Tutoring?

Student tutoring is a service designed to assist university students throughout their studies by monitoring academic progress and encouraging active participation in university life.

Who is it for?

All students can benefit from the Tutoring service.

What services are offered?

Tutors promptly provide support and assistance regarding, for example:

• Course registration procedures;
• Access to the student portal;
• Discrepancies between completed exams and those recorded in the electronic transcripts;
• Forms for internships and their recognition;
• Preparation of individual study plans;
• Collecting and transferring student requests to the administrative offices, the course chair, or individual professors.
