The University of Tuscia and the Ministry of Public Administration have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at facilitating the enrollment of Public Administration personnel in first and second level degree courses, as well as in Master’s and specialization courses, under favorable conditions.
The educational offer proposed by our University aligns with the objectives of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, which includes interventions aimed at enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of services offered by the Public Administration through the strengthening of skills among personnel operating in administrations close to citizens.
Public Administration employees who adhere to the memorandum of understanding, provided they meet the requirements, benefit from the following advantages:
For information on degree courses, please visit the individual courses pages accessible from the homepage.
In derogation from admission announcements for the academic year 2022-2023, public sector employees are exempt from taking entrance tests required for enrollment in undergraduate and single-cycle master’s degree courses with open access and locally programmed. In the latter case, enrollment in courses may be within the maximum number of enrollable students.
The maximum number of public sector employees who can be admitted to degree courses is determined to ensure compliance with sustainability criteria in terms of teaching resources for the same courses.
Attendance of face-to-face classes in degree courses is not mandatory, except for specific cases determined by individual course councils.
Teaching is delivered both in-person and concurrently online in synchronous mode (via video conferencing platforms), as well as asynchronously online (via the availability of recorded lessons).
Assessment tests are predominantly conducted in person, as outlined in the safety protocol.
Any prerequisite requirements indicated in the educational regulations of degree courses are not applicated.
The fees and enrollment contributions for courses at the University of Tuscia, to be paid by public sector employees students, are as follows:
For enrollment in first and second-level master’s courses, a reduction of at least 30% in the enrollment fee will be recognized, unless more favorable conditions are provided by the respective course authorities.
The University undertakes to maintain the favorable conditions stipulated throughout the duration of the Memorandum of Understanding.
In the case of enrollment in inter-university degree courses, the rules and amounts of fees and contributions applicable at the host university where the course is administratively based apply.
In addition to the contribution established by the University, the regional tax imposed by the Lazio Region is also due. The amount of the regional tax for the academic year 2022-2023 is €140. Additionally, a stamp duty of €16 applies to the indicated amounts.
Public sector employees benefiting from the advantages provided by the Memorandum of Understanding cannot request a refund of enrollment contributions in the event of obtaining a scholarship.
The public sector employee student who wishes to enroll in one of the courses in agreement must follow the instructions provided on the dedicated web page.
The contribution payment is made through the Student Portal.
Information and operational procedures are provided on the enrollment page.
Payments made in methods other than those indicated are not allowed.
