Italian Language Laboratory L2

The laboratory, established in 2020, stems from the common research and teaching experiences of colleagues from the DISTU department belonging to the fields L-FIL-LET/12, L-LIN/01, and L-LIN/02, with the aim of becoming a reference point within the university for all issues related to the teaching and scientific study of Italian as a foreign and second language. It is therefore involved in the selection of teachers and tutors for Italian L2 for incoming Erasmus students, for Erasmus+ and Erasmus KA students, providing courses within the summer schools offered by the university to incoming students and the USAC consortium.

Regarding research, the laboratory provides organizational support to facilitate all initiatives that its members and all researchers from the department and university who may be interested wish to pursue, such as organizing conferences and study meetings, publishing volumes, and obtaining funding through participation in national and international calls on the topics of Italian linguistics as a foreign or second language.
