Additional Information
The CAV is a space created by women who offer support and listening, respecting the woman’s will, with the aim of building paths to exit violence through comprehensive support. Attentive and qualified professionals provide non-judgmental support and listening to develop an individual and personalized journey.
In addition to the paths to exit violence, there are educational programs in collaboration with the University within the Gender Equality Plan (GEP) 2022-2024, promoted by the Inclusion and Equity Service (contact person: Dr. Martina Galli, martinagalli@unitus.it), and the “GEP team” (contact person: Prof. Sonia Melchiorre, melchiorresmr@unitus.it).
The educational activities aim to provide essential knowledge to recognize the cultural, social, and psychological mechanisms that perpetuate gender power disparities and the abuse that leads to violence.
