Brief description and research objectives:

The objective of the project (Authorized by the Segesta Archaeological Park) is the analysis and excavation of the Segesta city wall, both the lower and upper walls, the latter most likely built during the civil war between Sextus Pompeius and Octavian.

Possible collaborating entities and institutions:

The initiated project is carried out in collaboration with the Institut für Klassische Archäologie der Freien Universität Berlin.
