The University of Tuscia offers activities and services for digitally augmented teaching and the integration between in-person and online classes. The educational offer is built with attention to innovative teaching and the development of methodologies and tools for a better learning and teaching experience. Accessibility and inclusion ensure that all students can benefit from the content and relationships that characterize university life. The classrooms are even more equipped in a multimedia sense, for classes that can be accessed simultaneously in-person and via online streaming, and are also available afterwards on the university’s platforms.

Online educational activities ensure constant support to students and their active engagement, with attention to accessibility and inclusion. The University of Tuscia provides platforms and environments for online teaching, including interactive streaming lessons, recorded video lectures, podcasts, and materials made available by instructors. When necessary, exams and graduation sessions can be conducted regularly online.

The University of Tuscia ranks among the top in Italy for student satisfaction regarding the relationship with professors. In addition to classes, office hours are also conducted both in person and online, using user-friendly environments and platforms. Online office hours are a remote mode of interaction between teachers and students, with the same dynamics as in-person office hours, aimed at supporting student preparation and deepening educational topics and themes.

The primary online teaching platform at the University of Tuscia is Moodle, the most widely used open-source e-learning environment in the world.

G Suite for Education

Professors, students, and staff at the University of Tuscia have access to the full suite of Google services for connected services such as email, document creation, exchange and sharing, calendar, video conferencing, and virtual classrooms.

Office 365 for Students

The Microsoft Office 365 suite is available free of charge to all students at the University of Tuscia.
