The program is structured into three curricula. The Management, Consulting and Control curriculum aims to develop skills in managing business processes, management consulting, planning and performance control, with particular attention to administrative-accounting systems and support for strategic decision-making. The Finance curriculum provides advanced competencies in financial markets, corporate finance, investment management, and risk analysis, preparing graduates to operate in banking and financial contexts. The Economics and Management for Innovation and Sustainability curriculum, delivered in English, integrates business and economic skills with knowledge of innovation processes and sustainability, training professionals capable of managing change and the sustainable development of production systems (learn more).
Students acquire advanced knowledge in business and economic disciplines, management planning and control, accounting and financial reporting, corporate finance, and financial markets, complemented by quantitative and legal skills. The program develops the ability to analyze complex organizational systems, evaluate strategic decisions, and operate effectively in planning, management, and control processes.
The program combines theoretical and applied learning, including internships and traineeships, as well as the preparation of an original final thesis. Graduates develop independent judgment, communication skills, and lifelong learning abilities, making them well prepared for positions of responsibility in companies, consulting, and economic-financial contexts focused on innovation and sustainability.
Admission to the Master’s Degree program requires a Bachelor’s degree in classes L-18 or L-33.
Admission is also open to candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree in other classes, or an equivalent qualification obtained abroad and recognized as suitable, or a degree from the previous four-year system, provided that they meet the following curricular requirements (at least 36 ECTS credits) related to basic knowledge in business, economics, law, and statistics:
Students who have obtained, or are about to obtain, a Bachelor’s degree in L-18 (or equivalent classes under DM 509/99) from the Department of Economics and Enterprise at the University of Tuscia already meet the above curricular requirements.
An additional requirement for students enrolling in the English-taught curriculum “Economics and Management for Innovation and Sustainability” is English language proficiency at least at B2 level (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), certified by an appropriate language certificate or, in its absence, by passing a specific assessment test organized by the Department. Any required curricular integrations in terms of ECTS must be completed before the assessment of personal preparation (details).
For international students wishing to enroll in the Italian-taught curricula “Management, Consulting and Control” and “Finance”, Italian language proficiency at least at B2 level (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) is required, certified by an appropriate language certificate or, in its absence, by passing a specific assessment test organized by the Department.
All other students who do not meet the curricular requirements must remedy any deficiencies before enrolling in the program, as current regulations do not allow enrollment in Master’s degree programs with outstanding educational debts. To this end, students may enroll in single courses at the University Central Office (Via Santa Maria in Gradi n. 4) within the relevant scientific-disciplinary sector to acquire the required credits and take the related exams, even if still enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program.
Students coming from degree programs of other departments or other universities are advised to request a preliminary evaluation to verify admission requirements (didatticaeconomia@unitus.it or tel. +39 0761 357704 – +39 0761 357717).
Students wishing to enroll in the Master’s Degree in Economics, Management and Finance must submit a mandatory pre-enrollment application to the Department’s Academic Office (Via del Paradiso n. 47), according to deadlines that will be published on the Department’s website at the beginning of each academic year.
The pre-enrollment application may be submitted either in paper form during office opening hours or via email at didatticaeconomia@unitus.it, within the announced deadlines.
Only graduates from other universities are required to attach to the pre-enrollment application a self-certification of their degree, including the list of exams taken, with the indication of acquired credits and corresponding scientific-disciplinary sectors, in accordance with D.P.R. 445/00.
Please note that pre-enrollment is free of charge and does not bind the student in any way.
After submitting the pre-enrollment application, students will be required to attend an interview aimed at assessing the adequacy of their personal preparation.
Interview dates and deadlines for submitting the pre-enrollment application will be published in due time on the website of the Department of Economics, Engineering, Society and Business under the “Notices” section.

At the same time as submitting the pre-enrollment application, or after the admission interview, students must apply through the GOMP portal for the nulla osta (verification of curricular requirements).
The nulla osta will be issued by the Academic Office only after the interview, based on its outcome, and is required either to proceed with enrollment (in case of direct admission without deficiencies) or to enroll in single courses (if deficiencies are identified and specific exams are required for admission). In the latter case, after receiving the nulla osta, students must contact the Student Office at corsisingoli@unitus.it for information on the administrative procedure to enroll in the necessary single courses.
Please note that enrollment in single courses, when aimed at admission to a Master’s degree program at the University, is completely free of charge: students may attend classes and take exams without any cost.
The program aims to train professionals in business consulting and process control, financial market analysis, and economic data management, offering three distinct specialization tracks: the Management, Consulting and Control curriculum, focused on corporate governance, planning, and control processes; the Finance curriculum, oriented toward market analysis, investment management, and risk management; and the Economics and Management for Innovation and Sustainability curriculum, delivered in English, dedicated to the study of innovation processes, digital transformation, and sustainable development.
The PhD program in Economics, Management and Quantitative Methods is structured into three curricula:
Agri-food Economics and Policy (focused on the economic analysis of agri-food systems, the policies addressing them, and their interdependencies with overall economic development at both global and local levels);
Management (focused on the study of corporate governance and strategy, excellence models for digital competition, environmental, ethical and social responsibility of firms, technological innovation, digital transformation, new circular business models, and quality management);
Economics and Statistics (focused on the study and analysis of socio-economic and monetary-financial phenomena at macro, meso and micro-economic levels through economic theories, models, and statistical-econometric methods).
The program provides access to the State Examination required for enrollment in Section A of the Register of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts.
