The amounts shown in the tables have been calculated based on the salaries and contribution rates in force for the year, taking into account only the items included in the basic university remuneration and do not include any personal allowances.

To determine the hourly cost, the annual salary as of the reference date is divided by 1512 hours. The annual salary is determined by adding tabular and personal items, including the thirteenth salary when applicable.
With reference to the entry into force, as of January 29, 2011, of Law No. 240 of December 30, 2010 (Gelmini Law), the hourly cost of permanent teaching and research staff for reporting on research projects funded by external entities, for activities not related to teaching, must be calculated according to the instructions provided in Circular prot. no. 9168 of December 4, 2012.

The notation “(FULL-TIME) / 750 HOURS (DEFINED TIME)” indicates the calculation of the hourly cost for both full-time and defined-time employees.
For full-time employees, the total annual cost is divided by 1500 hours to obtain the hourly cost.
For defined-time employees, the total annual cost is divided by 750 hours to obtain the hourly cost.
This differentiation accounts for the different number of working hours per year between full-time and defined-time employees.
