Brief Description and Research Objectives:

The project involves the creation of eight short videos in the form of “pills of law” (hence the project title “Pills of Rights”), with the main objective of engaging high school students in legal studies for orientation purposes.

The videos were conceived and produced by Ph.D. students enrolled in the course “Law of European and Global Markets. Crisis, Rights, Regulation” at the University of Tuscia, under the coordination of Martina Galli, Francesco Sanvitale, and Giulia Del Turco. Characterized by a popular science approach and language accessible to non-specialists, they form a “glossary” focused on some key concepts of the legal system and the Constitution (Environment, Democracy, Education, Punishment, Secularism, Privacy, Equality, War).

For the university to be as inclusive as possible, the videos are accompanied by subtitles in Italian and English and, most importantly, by LIS translation.

The direction, editing, and LIS translation of the videos were handled by VirtualUp Srl. The dissemination is thanks to the University Center for Multimedia (CAM).

Funding of €4000 within the University of Tuscia call “Allocation of resources for investments in third mission projects funded by the funds of d.m. 737/2021 and d.m. 752/2021
