The 3d Printing Laboratory represents the production and rapid prototyping and 3d printing operational unit supporting the teaching and training activities of the University of Tuscia’s courses. The laboratory, through an environment strongly marked by practical experimentation and physical production of study and functional models, aims to provide tools for verification and development of projects. Using scanning, surveying, modeling and three-dimensional printing tools, it represents the “ playground” in which students practice modern design techniques and acquire practical knowledge related to production.
Part of the laboratory teachings of Design, Engineering and Green Building Techniques courses take place within the laboratory itself, while each student or student can access it for study and/or production needs related to teachings even not directly related to prototyping or artifact design.
