Physics Educational Laboratory

The laboratory, located on the ground floor of Block B on the Riello campus, is home to practical teaching exercises. There are 15 workstations available that can accommodate up to 45 students.

There is equipment for conducting practical exercises in the field of classical and modern physics. In particular, there are complete sets for exercises in the fields of mechanics (pendulums, springs, balances, weights, chronometers), calorimetry (calorimeters, thermometers), fluid dynamics (viscometers), electricity (multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, circuit construction elements), optics (optical benches, lenses, diffraction gratings, polarizers, lasers, UV sensors), and radioactivity (geiger counter, radioactive sample). Computers equipped for experiment simulation and data analysis are also available. The physics laboratory is used for the teachings of bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
