  • PhD project

The PhD research project focuses on applying circular economy principles to food packaging and distribution systems. It aims to conduct a comprehensive analysis of current practices, assess the environmental, economic, and social impacts of proposed innovations, and develop a framework for implementing circular economy principles in the food industry. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative research techniques across three regions of Vietnam. Data collection includes questionnaires and in-depth interviews, with analysis using PLS-SEM, Necessary Condition Analysis, and Artificial Neural Network for quantitative data, and thematic analysis for qualitative data. The project seeks to bridge the gap between theoretical circular economy concepts and practical applications in the food industry, contributing to sustainable and resource-efficient practices.
