I am an ecologist with a strong background in ecological research and GIS application to landscape ecology. My main interest is to use innovative tecnological techniques such as remote sensing, data logger and programming in R to manage large dataset to study and understand ecological process.

Currently, several biologgers are available to monitor behavioral, physiological, and environmental parameters, although their use is often limited to monitor animal’s physical parameters. Allowing accurate descriptions of individuals, biologgers can make wild wild animals into high-resolution environmental monitoring platforms.

The main goal of the project is the development of an innovative tool capable of integrating hardware and software components from different instruments and sensors in order to collect environmental data of various kinds (CO2, NOx).
